2023 Annual Conference
Dear Colleagues,
We are excited to invite you to join us for this year’s Minnesota Society of Anesthesiologists 2023 Annual Conference, held September 30-Octoboer 1 at the Radisson Blu Mall of America. This year’s theme is, “Updates to Guidelines for the Practicing Anesthesiologist” and includes many engaging speakers in a variety of learning formats, including lectures, resident oral presentation sessions, problem based learning discussions (PBLDs) and a hands-on workshop.
We are delighted to host several regional and national guest presenters this year, including Dr. Maxime Cannesson, Chair of the Department of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine at the University of California, Los Angeles providing an Update on Emerging
Medical Technologies and Patient Safety, Dr. Michael Scott from the University of Pennsylvania giving an update from the APSF Consensus Conference, and Dr. Stephanie Cheng from the Hospital for Special Surgery speaking on Acupuncture for Acute Pain and conducting a hands-on workshop! In addition, Dr. Kraig de Lanzac, ASA Assistant Secretary, will be giving an update from the national office over lunch.
New this year, join MSA for a fun evening social event: Primetime Showdown at Game Show Battle on Saturday September 30th. Experience the thrill of three primetime game show games, Survey Battles, MatchUp Wars, and Time Rush Games, all facilitated by charismatic game show hosts for a fun night out with your colleagues! Grab a ticket for you and a guest when you register. Limited tickets available.
On behalf of the MSA Education Committee and the entire MSA Board of Directors, we invite you to join us and are looking forward to see you all in September!
